About Suzuki Violin:
The Suzuki Method is a complete musical training method that develops the whole child and prepares them for a lifetime of music making and appreciation! The main tenets of the Suzuki Method are that music should be learned the same way we learn our native language, and nurturing the child's growth and development in music and in life.
Typically, students begin Suzuki violin lessons between the ages of 3 and 8, depending on the child's development and the parent's commitment to attending lessons and group classes, as well as planning daily practice sessions. Students and parents work together, attending weekly individual and group lessons. The individual lessons focus on building technique and learning new repertoire. The group classes are an integral part of the Suzuki Method. Group lessons focus on ensemble playing skills and strengthening memorization of polished pieces.
